Workers in the
value chain

We promote a value chain founded on respect for people and human rights. Aware of how complex this goal is, we have launched a process of supplier engagement and assessment based on shared social and ethical criteria. Through qualification, monitoring and verification we work to spread fair, safe and decent labour standards. The process is still at an early stage.

Concrete
actions

Human rights and ethical work

Through our Policy on Human Rights, Ethical Work and the Prevention of Exploitation, we promote respect for people and the protection of fundamental rights along the entire value chain. We oppose all forms of child and forced labour, support freedom of association and promote fair, safe and decent working conditions, in line with the principles of the SA8000 standard.

Ethical supply

Through our Supplier Code of Conduct, we promote the same ethical and social principles that guide our work. We ask suppliers and subcontractors to respect human rights, ensure decent working conditions, protect people’s health and safety and combat all forms of discrimination, forced labour and exploitation.

supplier qualification and monitoring

We are progressively strengthening oversight of the supply chain through qualification questionnaires on SA8000 and social responsibility aspects, dedicated audits and digital monitoring tools. With the Supplier Portal and the launch of the Synesgy platform we collect information to assess social and compliance risks and promote a transparent and responsible supply chain.

The next frontiers

Our goals for the future

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. Here are our next steps for the wellbeing of our team:

  • By 2026: Assess extending the performance appraisal system, linked to ESG indicators, to a wider group of employees

  • By 2026: Use the results of the 2024 workplace climate survey to implement evidence-based corrective and preventive actions on organisational wellbeing and work-related stress

  • Ongoing: Keep the integrated management systems (ISO 45001) active and strengthen health and safety awareness campaigns
