Being a cooperative is the foundation of our business model. We put people, transparency and responsibility at the centre, to create shared value along the entire supply chain.
We analyse the impacts we generate through our operations and along the value chain, considering both positive and negative aspects in line with the European ESRS standards.

We consider safety an essential part of the quality of work and of protecting people. That is why, alongside our ISO 45001 certified management system, we run training and awareness initiatives for our workers, with the aim of strengthening a culture of prevention and promoting workplaces that are increasingly safe, inclusive and attentive to people’s wellbeing.
In 2024 we carried out our second workplace climate survey, including a specific section on violence and harassment in the workplace, in line with the principles of ILO Convention No. 190. The initiative allowed us to gain deeper insight into the perceptions and experiences of the people who work at Camst, providing useful input to guide subsequent improvement actions.
We promote people’s professional growth through dedicated training paths and individual and team development initiatives, with the aim of enhancing skills, responsibility and the ability to collaborate. Appraisal and development systems support an approach aimed at spreading a company culture consistent with the principles of sustainability, inclusion and social responsibility.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey. Here are our next steps for the wellbeing of our team:
By 2026: Assess extending the performance appraisal system, linked to ESG indicators, to a wider group of employees
By 2026: Use the results of the 2024 workplace climate survey to implement evidence-based corrective and preventive actions on organisational wellbeing and work-related stress
Ongoing: Keep the integrated management systems (ISO 45001) active and strengthen health and safety awareness campaigns
