Being a cooperative is the foundation of our business model. We put people, transparency and responsibility at the centre, to create shared value along the entire supply chain.
We analyse the impacts we generate through our operations and along the value chain, considering both positive and negative aspects in line with the European ESRS standards.
Explore the stories, projects and case histories that tell the impact of our activities on people, local areas and the environment.
We work to understand, measure and progressively reduce the environmental impacts of our activities along the entire value chain. Through life cycle assessment (LCA), monitoring of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and the progressive use of renewable sources, we strengthen our ability to steer company choices towards a more conscious use of energy.

Through our Organisational LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) we are developing an increasingly complete view of the environmental impacts generated by our activities and along the value chain. This work allows us to progressively strengthen data quality, improve monitoring systems and support increasingly informed decisions in managing environmental performance.
Every year we set out a plan to optimise energy efficiency, acting on the most significant uses by replacing obsolete systems, adopting modern boilers, heat pumps and LED lighting, and expanding the remote management and monitoring network. As part of the ISO 50001 system we set energy performance improvement targets for the different operating areas; alongside the technical work we run the training project “Accendiamo il risparmio energetico” (Let’s switch on energy saving), aimed at promoting more conscious behaviour.
We are progressively investing in renewable energy production and in renewing the company fleet with lower-impact vehicles. In 2025 we commissioned a new photovoltaic system at our headquarters in Villanova di Castenaso (Bologna), helping to increase the share of self-generated energy and supporting our environmental improvement journey.
Today our measurements are based on estimates, because we often operate in facilities we do not own. We cannot make promises we cannot measure. Here are our concrete commitments for the coming years:
Map actual consumption: Implement a new data collection system that records water consumption alongside invoices, covering around 300 delivery points
Increase certified sites: Move from the current 6 sites with Ecolabel cleaning to 14 certified sites by 2028
Raise awareness in the team: Launch annual training for the entire workforce to promote good practices in water use
